"....And the beat goes on....." every six weeks, I show up for my "stick-in-the-eye" treatment with Dr. Patel and his gang. Every six weeks is an instantly successful procedure. "Hello" to all, go in, check meds list for changes, eye chart test, poke in the eyes with the pressure pen for IOP, go sit in the waiting room in a corner, be quiet, behave myself and wait for Retina photos, get the photos, squirt in the eye with the first "goop", Dr. Patel sweeps in, does his more-goop-in-the eye process, positions the eye lid spreader, presents the injection, says A little pressure", administers the injection, wipes away the goop, irrigates the eye - flushing more goop away, says "six weeks", escorts me to check out and we're good to go. All less than 30 minutes by my Atomic Radio Wrist Watch. "...And the beat goes on....". No Fuss, No Muss, No Cuss. Back home via the Tollway North and "Nap Time". Been doing this for two years and seven months. Staff may change from time to time, but the quality doesn't. Matches my almost-OCD personality. Good people. Sooner done; sooner fun. Carry on.
